Community Involvement

The Sold Team's commitment to the York County community is more than an idea. Whether they are building playgrounds or helping out tenants who are unable to make their rent payments, community is first. Check out some awesome organizations The Sold Team has been able to be a part of:

Shadowfax

Kim Moyer has served on the Board of Directors of Shadowfax since 1995. This organization is committed to offering homes to live in, skills to grow in, and jobs to take pride in to people in York County with disabilities.

Habitat for Humanity

Our team has donated both time and money to Habitat. As real estate professionals, our passion is putting people in homes they will love. Habitat for Humanity is an amazing opportunity to build homes for individuals who are in need.

SPCA

Deborah Smith volunteers at the York SPCA, along with her husband. Deborah serves as a kennel greeter and clinic volunteer, while her hubby enjoys walking the dogs. It's something they started doing after the loss of their beloved family dog.

Homeless Outreach Program & Community Outreach Breakfasts

Deborah Smith gives countless hours to the York community, via various outreach programs. She also volunteers monthly serving Saturday breakfast, to those in need, through her church, something she learned from her father. She also assists with RAYAC's Homeless Outreach Program where attendees are provided food, clothing, and basic needs.

Annual Charity Bowl-a-Thon

The Sold Team participates in the Annual Charity Bowl-A-Thon to raise money for Habitat and other housing charities. Our team even won several tournaments in the past!

Relay For Life

The entire team has been involved with Relay For Life for several years. In addition to soliciting donations and personally making donations, they have attended various York County events for the American Cancer Society and are actively involved in Georgetown University's Relay For Life event.

Junior Achievement

Kim recently completed his seventh year volunteering with Junior Achievement. In addition to career education, he has also served as a Career Day Spokesman on several occasions.

Windsor Wonderland Playground Committee

Cindy Sarver chaired the Windsor Wonderland Playground Committee. She was responsible for raising money and overseeing the completion of the first Windsor Township Community Park. She was supported by her team with volunteer hours and financial donations. In the fall of 2022, the outdated playground equipment was removed to make way for new equipment and surfacing. We are excited for bigger and better things for the children of Windsor Township and all who come to play!

Caring.com

Caring.com is a leading senior care resource for family caregivers seeking information and support as they care for aging parents, spouses and other loved ones. We have been featured by AARP, The Administration for Community Living, The National Legal Resource Center, and Forbes, as well as referenced by many governmental agencies and organizations across the Internet.
